Melon and Watermelon
BROTOMAX®
APPLICATION TIMES, MODES AND DOSE
- 1st application: 10 days after plantation.
- 2nd application: 15 days after the 1st
- 3rd application: after fruit setting.
(foliar) dose: 0,3%.
(Soil) dose: 5 L/Ha.
For better and quicker healing of the wounds produced after each cut, we recommend a foliar application of BROTOMAX® whilst the crop yield permits.
BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES
- Earlier maturity.
- Regulates the vegetative cycle, providing the energy that the plant requires at all times.
- Due to the antioxidant effect offered, treated plants remain younger for longer, lengthening the vegetative cycle and allowing more cuts.
- With the 3rd application we will ostensibly overcome the “collapse” of the melon.
- Stimulates production of polyphenols, making the plant more resistant to “neck diseases”.
- More aromatic fruit with higher sugar content (BRIX level).
RECOMMENDATIONS
If after the first application of BROTOMAX®the plant lacks colour or is showing signs of retarded growth, an application via irrigation of CORRIZ·AM® 7 days after the first application of BROTOMAX® will solve the problem.
Dose: 3 L/Ha.
A foliar application of BIOHIDRAMAR® CUAJE improves flowering and achieves a greater number of uniform and fertile flowers, thus increasing the quality of the pollen.
Dose: 0,1 % (1 cc/L)
A joint application of AM·EN® and BIOHIDRAMAR® CREMA is recommended when the melon reaches the size of an egg and the watermelon the size of a tennis ball.
• Applying AM·EN® prevents abortion of fruits and gives uniformity of size, which is to say that it makes the plant produce a greater number of uniform fruits.
(Foliar) dose : 0,3 % (3 cc/L).
• Applying BIOHIDRAMAR® CREMA causes cells to fill out which means an increase in fruit weight.
(Foliar) dose : 0,2 % (2 cc/L).
If several flowerings with the consequent fruit settings occur, repeat this treatment at the same times.
