Flower and Ornamentals

Application times, modes and doses

application:
10-15 days after sprouting.
application:
30-40 days after 1st application or before flowering, depending on the species.
application:
30 days after the 2nd application or before the "summer dormancy".
application
recommended for woody or unique plants at the beginning of autumn and before leaf fall.
Dose:
Dose (foliar application): 3 cc/ L.

In addition:

  • On arboreal plants with Phytophthora attack: apply once before winter dormancy. In addition, reserves are built up for the next sprouting season.
  • In new tree and shrub plantations: prevents drying out of buds and wood, and the subsequent death of the tree due to low root volume and low nutrient storage in the plant.
  • In the event of hail: apply to rapidly heal any wounds.
  • Key application to help plants live with Erwinia amylovora in Prunus, Rosaceae and other trees and shrubs: perform 3 foliar applications of BROTOMAX®, before flowering, after petal fall, and 30 days after the second application.
  • In some mature plants or unique or valuable specimens, a foliar application prior to leaf fall or winter dormancy may be very beneficial to supplement the plant’s reserves and improve the following growing season.

Benefits and advantages of Brotomax®

  • Particularly suitable for boosting the health and development of vegetation and roots in complex situations.
  • Effectively stimulates development and cell multiplication in roots and shoots of treated plants. Ideal for use on golf courses and high performance sports turf.
  • Rapidly absorbed due to its ascending and descending system that reaches all the plant’s organs, providing an important core of ultra-rapidly assimilated elements and micronutrients to activate and strengthen the plant in the most critical growth phases.
  • Activates plant defences against stress, frost, drought, hail, waterlogging and diseases.
  • Stronger and more cold-resistant plants.

Remarks:

  • In woody plants, the benefits of BROTOMAX® applications are best observed at the beginning of the next growing season.
  • Apply as a foliar spray, making sure that the whole plant is well wetted, including the trunk in woody plants. Caution should be exercised when used on certain sensitive flower varieties, such as hydrangeas. For sensitive herbaceous species, do not mix with amino acids.
  • For some sensitive varieties of ornamental (or flowering) fruit trees, localised irrigation is recommended.
