BROTOMAX® is a self-inducer of natural defence, antioxidant and regenerative substances of plants, with nutritional capacity.
It is an energy rich product which is easily absorbed by leaves, branches, and roots, with upward/downward systemic activity that enabling sap to move around inside the plant, and so generating a balance between the above-ground part and the roots.
BROTOMAX® enhances one of the essential plant cycles: the shikimic acid pathway (the cycle inhibited by glyphosate-based herbicides). This cycle controls the synthesis of major groups of metabolites.
One of the groups of metabolites whose synthesis increases BROTOMAX® are polyphenols, which are very important for the life of plants and their defense mechanisms against biotic and abiotic agents.
BROTOMAX® does not directly introduce polyphenols, but has an impact on the biochemical modulation of the polyphenolic compounds, leaving nature to regulate and balance its activity.
